Edward Gorey House Brochure

This brochure was created using Adobe InDesign in my ol’ humble CS3. I chose the brochure1.indt template and essentially scrapped it to create this (but thanks altogether for the layout ideas).

The brochure itself was inspired by my summer internship at the Edward Gorey House museum on Cape Cod (see various postings). Most of the photos were either my own or taken from the Gorey House website. To me, the most intriguing elements of the brochure are the Gorey-drawn background images of Figbash doing a pirouette and a recently auctioned watercolor entitled “A Dull Afternoon.” Both worked quite nicely as background images and enabled me to avoid choosing solid colors altogether as the backdrop to the layout To view it, click on the link below.
